Planners back next phase of Flagship Park Peterborough development
Works to prepare the site will continue throughout 2024 and it is now being promoted to occupiers to meet their future requirements.
The site benefits from outline planning permission for 1.36 million sq ft of commercial space, which the Church Commissioners for England secured in 2020, and is the next major employment scheme for Peterborough and the surrounding area.
Industrial and logistics units from 30,000 to 850,000 sq ft can be provided to suit individual occupier requirements, with units expected to be delivered in both speculative phases and pre let/sales to tenants. Further reserved matters planning applications are expected to be submitted during 2024.
Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner for Trebor, said: “We are excited to have reached this key milestone in the site’s development after many months of hard work.
“This site is an exciting new opportunity to deliver high quality, sustainable, new units to satisfy local occupier demand in Peterborough and wider Eastern region.”
Joanna Loxton, Head of Strategic Land Investment at the Church Commissioners for England, added: “We are pleased to welcome this major step forward in our development partnership with Trebor/Hillwood at Flagship Park, which paves the way for a high-quality employment scheme in this part of Peterborough.
“In line with the Church Commissioners for England’s original vision for the site, the new sustainable industrial park will create significant job opportunities and economic growth for the city, enabled by the delivery of units that support occupiers of all sizes.”
Bidwells and Savills are retained as joint letting agents.
