Oxford Science Enterprises makes its Mark with DeepTech hire

A University of Oxford alumni, Chadwick joins OSE as DeepTech Scientist-in-Residence following a distinguished academic career – most recently as a Research Fellow at Imperial College London.
In his time at Oxford, he conducted postdoctoral research and held a teaching position at Magdalen College. Chadwick was also awarded an EPFL Fellowship at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland before returning to the UK to establish his research programme at Imperial.
He has built an impressive track record in cutting-edge chemical research, with over 30 peer-reviewed publications and significant research funding from organisations including the Leverhulme Trust, the European Research Council and UK Research and Innovation.
In his new role at OSE, he will focus on strengthening relationships with Oxford academics, identifying promising new DeepTech opportunities and assisting in the technical evaluation of potential investments.

OSE’s Scientist-in-Residence role is designed to provide the team with an additional layer of technical depth, offering a unique expertise that enables OSE to continue to build inspiring businesses.
To date, OSE has collaborated with over 300 international investors, collectively injecting over £2.5 billion in more than 100 groundbreaking companies.
