Orca Scan launches Barcode Label Designer

Cambridge tech company Orca Scan has launched a web-based tool that gives businesses of all sizes the ability to design, create and print fully-compliant barcode labels in minutes.

The new Barcode Label Designer is pre-configured with industry-compliant templates; and an intuitive drag-and-drop interface allows anyone to create custom, professional-quality labels, without the need for design experience or coding.

The tool is compatible with widely-used barcode printers from Brother, Dymo and Zebra. A free trial is available for all new users and training videos are available on the Orca Scan YouTube channel.

Orca Scan says users can combine text, images, logos and barcodes to create the barcode labels they need. The tool is integrated into the existing platform, meaning users can populate labels using data in their existing sheets.

Teams at 60 per cent of Fortune 500 companies – the largest in the US by revenue – and 40 per cent of FTSE 100 businesses in the UK use Orca Scan which in just nine years has grown its customer base to around 450,000 users worldwide. Orca Scan customers include Amazon, Enfamil, Masteroast, NASA, the NHS, Toyota and Whirlpool Canada.
