Hybrid Software Group bounces back on Euronext

Euronext-quoted Hybrid Software Group Plc – headquartered in Cambridge at Cambourne Business Park – has returned to profit after a strong bounceback in the six months to June 30.

The owner of Meteor Inkjet – a TTP spin-out – Hybrid Software has lifted revenue to €26.922 million from €24.906m year-on-year and turned a small loss to a profit of €1.870m.

Its subsidiary companies are colour technology specialist ColorLogic, printing software developer Global Graphics Software, enterprise software developer HYBRID Software, 3D design and modelling software developer iC3D, the industrial printhead driver solutions specialists Meteor Inkjet and pre-press workflow developer Xitron.

Group CEO Mike Rottenborn said: “Hybrid Software Group performed well in the first half of 2024, with rising revenues in all business segments. Overall, our revenues grew 8.1 per cent over the first half of 2024, with all three reporting segments seeing growth in the range of 7-10 per cent.

“The first semester also brought a significant boost in profitability with our EBITDA up 75 per cent and adjusted operating profit up 188 per cent from last year’s figures to €6.48 million and €4.38 million, respectively.”

Through its operating subsidiaries, Hybrid is a leading developer of enterprise software for industrial print manufacturing. Customers include press manufacturers such as HP, Canon, Durst, Roland and Hymmen plus hundreds of packaging printers, trade shops and converters worldwide.
