Global big-hitter named CFO at Pragmatic Semiconductor

Pragmatic Semiconductor, a Cambridge Science Park-based chip manufacturer, has appointed Steve McCue as new Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director. He has lived and worked in multiple locations across Europe and Asia.

McCue has more than 30 years’ experience in CFO and operational leadership roles spanning high tech, electronics, advanced materials, packaging and pharmaceutical industries. He was most recently the CFO at Cambridge-based pharmaceutical scale-up company, Cycle Pharmaceuticals.

He joins Pragmatic at a period of rapid growth for the company as it ramps up the global delivery of its FlexIC flexible chip technology.

Prior to Cycle, McCue served as Group CFO at Antalis, a publicly listed leader in packaging and visual communication media distribution. He held finance leadership roles at CP Kelco, an advanced manufacturer, following almost a decade in operational and finance leadership positions at AVEX Electronics.
