Forefront RF expands with new subsidiary office in the Netherlands
The strategic expansion marks an important step in Forefront RF’s evolution from an early-stage startup to a major player in RF technology, supporting its ambitious growth plans following the successful Series A fundraise in Q4 2024.
The Netherlands is an important seedbed for microelectronics, with Dutch semiconductor companies accounting for around nine per cent of global market share.
Boasting world class transport hubs including the ports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Schiphol Airport, the country facilitates the movement of high-value goods across Europe and beyond.
Additionally, the nation’s international outlook and multicultural environment makes it an ideal location for Forefront RF to expand its footprint in the European market and foster stronger partnerships with regional stakeholders in the semiconductor industry.

The new entity will allow Forefront to accelerate product rollouts, enhance customer support, and leverage Europe’s rich semiconductor talent pool, keeping the company on course to launch its first-generation product, the FFM51010, aimed at the cellular-enabled smartwatch market in 2026.
