Based on award-winning research, Forefront RF’s groundbreaking patented Foretune™ technology reduces printed circuit board (PCB) space in mobile devices by increasing frequency bands while lowering component count, thereby replacing fixed frequency filters with a next-gen tunable duplexer that allows dynamic tuning to available frequencies.
Crowned the 2023 Business Weekly Awards ‘engineering champion’, the University of Bristol spin-out raised an initial £1.5 million investment in 2021 led by Science Creates Ventures with investment from BGF and Foresight Group, and a further £6.7 million in a 2023 funding round led by BGF with participation from the existing investors. In November 2024 the company raised £16m in a Series A round.
