The deep tech innovator has already spun out more than 20 businesses, and a new FutureTech function identifies commercial opportunities ahead of the game – in some cases before there are established markets for the scientific and technological breakthroughs.
Established in 1960, the company was the brainchild of three Cambridge University graduates – Tim Eiloart, Rodney Dale and David Southward – who wanted to "put the brains of Cambridge University at the disposal of the problems of British industry".
Cambridge Consultants has expanded globally to 35 countries and is now part of Capgemini — one of the largest tech consultancies worldwide.
