BDO boom with 79 local promotions including one to partner status

Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has announced the promotion of 79 people across its East Anglia offices, including one to partner.

BDO has elevated 47 people in its Ipswich office, with a further 27 promotions in Cambridge and five in Norwich. Nationwide, the firm has promoted over 2,400 of its people, including 36 new partners.

New audit partner Steve Bladen has more than 20 years’ sector experience in delivering audit and assurance services to audited entities across local government and the National Health Service.

As a key audit partner licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Steve represents BDO on several working groups led by the National Audit Office. He is also the Local Head of Audit for the Public Sector Assurance team and represents the team on the firm's Audit Quality Council.
