In Q1 2024, the company committed an extra £200m to further expansion in Cambridge bringing 1,000 additional jobs to the Cluster. AstraZeneca is delivering on its ambition to transform cancer treatment and outcomes for patients by replacing traditional regimens like chemotherapy and radiotherapy with more targeted treatments.

It is investing $3.5bn in the US to expand its research & manufacturing footprints by the end of 2026. This includes $2bn of new money to create more than a thousand additional high-skilled jobs.
