Seven industrial units have been sold in deals worth a total of £4 million at Frogmore’s M11 Business Park, Stansted. The units together span some 30,000 sq ft.

“It’s been one of the fastest selling business developments we’ve ever released,” says Jo Allen of Frogmore, the UK property fund management company.

Frogmore believes its ‘Freezehold’ scheme has given added impetus to the speed with which the units have sold, with many occupiers choosing to lease with the option to buy later at the original selling price. The development has also benefited from its proximity to Stansted Airport.

Gamit Limited, specialist supplier of aircraft spares and replacement parts, has bought six units – three industrial units totalling 15,500 sq ft; two offices for its own occupation and two offices and one industrial unit totalling 9,096 sq ft (currently occupied by Commend UK, security specialists).

The last unit was sold to Hilton Properties Limited, which now owns and occupies a total of three units on the estate.

Allen said: “These sales illustrate the strong demand to own modern business space in this prime location and with just one industrial unit remaining, this is the last opportunity for a potential occupier to buy or let a brand new unit”.

Unit 17, the last business unit available in this phase, offers 4,990 sq ft of floor space, including 651 sq ft of mezzanine offices. Eight office units, ranging from 2,441 to 3,610 sq ft are also available for sale or to let on an adjacent site. Sales agents are Barker Storey Matthew, CBRE and Glenny.
