European expansion for lift truck company
Witham-based Ambassador Lift Trucks has announced further expansion with the addition of a third dealership to the company portfolio.
From this month, the Essex business will be official regional dealer for leading forklift manufacturer Clark Material Handling. The move extends the company’s reach in Europe.Ambassador’s sales director Trevor De’Ath says taking on an additional franchise was a decision based on offering more choice to meet current market conditions.
“We’re working well with our national franchises OMG Warehouse Equipment and Komatsu Forklifts,” he said.
“However, adding the Clark product range to our portfolio puts us in an even better position offering a full range of quality counter balance product.
“We chose the Clark forklift range for several reasons; it’s not only a well-known and respected industry brand but offers its UK dealer network full back up and support from its European centre based in Germany.
“Our appointment as a Clark dealer enables us to offer an extensive, high-quality forklift range at a competitive base price that fits neatly in with the other products we continue to promote and support, with fast delivery times and together with a European parts supply centre we feel we can offer the choice our customers are asking for.”
